A controversial figure, Cardinal Augustine found himself in the midst of many scandalous affairs between men and women. Struggling for power, he obtained the sword and quickly rose through the ranks of the church. But just as quickly as he rose, he fell.

A failed politician who was about to lose it all, until the sword called for him. Now, crowned as Arthur, Rouse had a second chance. Rouse would do anything for seat of power, even if it meant neglecting his loved ones.

Loved by few and despised by many. Arliss has been described as the least worthy of the title of Arthur. He started out as a young face who played minor roles. After receiving Excalibur he quickly climbed through the ranks of his threatre troupe. Arliss stopped at nothing to satiate his lustful desires and need for power, even if it involved the bloodying of a few costumes.

Alys truly embodied what it meant to be an Arthur. Alys cared less about power and more about bettering the lives around her. She truly believed she was destined to end the war and usher in a reign of peace. But she never had any true power, after all she was still only a school girl.

* There was no Arthur between Alys (1940) and Azar (modern).
* There should be a touch of fantasy and magic within every story. 
* There should always be an Arthur, Lancelot, [[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_le_Fay |Morgan]]], Lady of the Lake, and Merlin within each cycle. 
* Queerness and fate should be themes within the narrative. 
* Anyone can be an Arthur, the only trait all Arthurs share is a desire for leadership and being located within Great Britain. They do not have to be from Great Britain.
