The Fishing Team is the branch of the SCP Wiki concerned with organizing fishing excursions, exhibiting staff's fishing trophies and assuring fishing rules are respected on-site. More specifically, the Fishing Team's responsibilities are:

* Organizing fishing contests (such as 6kon[[footnote]] Sixth Koi Contest [[/footnote]]).
* Keeping up to date the Herringtage Collection.
* Assuring the fishing regulations are respected on-site and off-site by site members.
* Featuring on the front page of piscine-related works.
* Allowing wiki members to breathe outside of water.
* Finding, investigating and AHT-banning members of the SPC Wiki.
