We must never forget we are fighting a titan. The Foundation has built itself up as an insurmountable monolith. It cannot show weakness. Any crack in its facade is an admission that its normalcy is not infallible, that all veils will die by a thousand cuts.

Today, we made that crack. It cost us, but the Foundation will fear our raids for years to come. The next step is to deepen that crack, make it spread to anyone willing to look at the Foundation for what it is.

Hereafter, Delta Commander Damien O'Connor will order in line with the Steps of the Plan as transcribed by the Engineer of Delta Command and its cells.

Mark the occasion. Do not mark the date. It is of paramount importance that you are there "on the day of the Containment Breach". Take this as your only reference point on when you need to be where I have ordered you to.

When the Containment Breach is happening, it is of vital importance that you do not participate. This is not your breach. The Foundation expects a raid, and we are not one to play into the expectation of our enemy.

I have given you so little information about the layout, because this is all you will need. Getting to the service tunnel at the right moment will be enough of a task as is.

You will find your access to our anomalous arsenal has increased. Take the Staff of Hermes, if you must.

There are two possibilities you will face after the Breach has started slowing down. Be prepared for both.

The first is easy: Nothing happens. The target was captured before he could get to you. Do not try to engage the task force to get the target out anyway. Just silently leave your post the way you entered. The Foundation must not suspect Insurgency involvement in this scenario.

The second case: The target finds you. Expect the target to flee into the tunnel on hot pursuit by the task force. Deal with them as you see fit. The Foundation is allowed to suspect an anomalous event, but revealed Insurgency presence should still be kept to an absolute minimum.

**O'Connor:** We need more than a seed.

**Walker:** No. Sorry, no. I see where this is going, and I'm saying no. I really hate the Foundation right now, but I don't want to be here. 

**Engineer:** What do you think this is?

**Walker:** A recruitment offer.

**Engineer:** I think we're well past that point. Subversion is the essence of Insurgency. And is so the inverse of a prison not its break? A finer Insurgent I could not ask for.

**Walker:** Then what is this?

**Engineer:** Think of it as a pep-talk. You've been doing very well so far, and I'd like you to not give up.

**Walker:** Give up? I'm here now, aren't I?

**Engineer:** You have found one way out. A tiny leak in the Foundation leading to us. A leak we must close, I'm afraid.

**Walker:** You're sending me back?

**O'Connor:** There are several options available to you. The full of the Gestalt would be a valuable asset in the fight against the Foundation. Our troops could use the moral boost of a tangible result from our raids. We would also accept intel as the only compensation for your rescue.

**Walker:** I'd rather walk free. What do you want to know?

**O'Connor:** Everything you have on O5-3 and her projects.

**Walker:** O5? What project?

**O'Connor:** The one that got you your demotion. You were amnesticized. Does anything come back to you?

**Walker:** I don't know? A little? I can see a path where I might have remembered.

**O'Connor:** Another dead-end then.

**Walker:** I'm not going back.

**Engineer:** Don't worry. You will arrive at your goal one way or another. Drop by drop.
