**Special Containment Procedures:** All communication from Biological Research Site-129 is to be logged, and all alterations to SCiP-net documentation from Site-129 are to be studied by personnel at Site-██. No communication from Site-129 is to be responded to by any personnel outside of Site-129. Packages with supplies necessary for the containment of anomalies at Site-129 may be sent, but both items and packaging must not contain any text.

Personnel stationed at Site-129 should be given only legal portions of SCP-8559's containment procedures. Legal portions of SCP-8559's containment procedures can be viewed via SCP-8559's Level 1 documentation. 

The nature of SCP-8559 should not be investigated.

At any time, if the number of personnel stationed at Site-129 reaches zero, exactly thirty personnel are to be amnesticised and reassigned there within the business week. Personnel are to be selected at the discretion of the Ethics Committee.

Due to the remote location of Site-129 and the low disruption class of all anomalies located on-site,[[footnote]] All anomalies contained on-site are designated Dark or Vlam. [[/footnote]] containment breaches of other SCP objects are considered an acceptable risk to SCP-8559's containment procedures.

**Description:** SCP-8559 is hypothesized to be a metaphysical entity that follows a number of laws, which have all been discovered through their violation. There may be laws enacted by SCP-8559 that are currently undiscovered but are legally binding. As of 06/23/2024, SCP-8559 is located at Biological Research Site-129, a low-risk containment and research facility housing approximately thirty SCP objects handled by the Biology Department and the Synthology[[footnote]] The study of synthetic life. [[/footnote]] Department.

> **Law 8559.§1:** Communicating any information (other than legal portions of SCP-8559 documentation) directly to personnel at an SCP-8559-affected location is illegal. Violation of this law is punishable by the re-localization of SCP-8559 to the perpetrator's location (so long as at least thirty personnel are employed at that location), and the perpetrator's immediate termination.

> **Law 8559.§3:** Attempting to hire more personnel to work at SCP-8559's location while at least one person is currently employed there is illegal. > **Law 8559.§4:** Quitting from an SCP-8559-affected location is illegal. Violation of this law is punishable by immediate termination. Retiring at the age of eighty or older is permitted.

> **Law 8559.§5:** If there are zero personnel in SCP-8559's location for more than one business week[[footnote]] Since SCP-8559 affects any location where people are employed, it follows the rules of businesses by default. It is thought that it would obey the same rules while located at a government or Foundation facility that doesn't normally adhere to business hours. > **Law 8559.§6:** Informing personnel at an SCP-8559-affected locale the contents of Laws §1, §3, §5, and §6 is illegal. Violation of this law is punishable by the immediate termination of the perpetrator and the affected criminal(s) who listened.
