On July 20th 2024 at 10:56 PM EST, Site-69 ceased broadcasting internal surveillance footage. As constant monitoring of Site-69 is a high priority, Reactionary Task Force Kappa-13 ("Doppler Affected") was deployed from [https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/secure-facility-dossier-site-300 Site-300-12] as the first available unit within air range.

RTF-K13 are en route to Site-69 via dual-rotor cargo helicopter. Task force members are henceforth referred by their designations Alpha, Brimstone, Clarity and Dodgeball. Members are equipped with SCRAMBLE visors and adaptive environmental armour. Video and audio feeds from each member are being relayed to the on-board computer.

**Alpha:** Alright, folks. We're past the threshold now, so no more useless chatter from Command. Since there's now zero risk of interference, you are all officially need-to-know. Congrats. That means that we're going to go over the mission plan again, and this time, everything is on the table. If you have any questions, ask them right away. Got it?

[Other members indicate that they get it.]

**Alpha:** Great. You each have a map of Site-69. I expect you to have memorised it already; if not, you better do that right now. We're going to be setting down as close as we can to the front door on the east side of the building. It's blisteringly cold out there, and should we come across anyone in need of extraction, I want to get them out alive. In theory there are environmental suits in situ, but we don't know how many, if any, are left. Brimstone.

**Brimstone:** How many people are on-site?

**Alpha:** We don't know. Surveillance footage goes directly to Site-19; DEEPWELL determines when and how many replacements are needed to keep the Site ticking over. If I had to guess, less than 10, could be as many as 30. What we do have is the list of Foundation staff who have //ever// been transferred to Site-69. In theory any or all of them could be alive today, but I think 200 is a little excessive. You have retinal scanners and I want you to identify every person you come across, living or dead.

**Alpha:** Obviously, we don't know why the broadcast stopped. Our primary objective is to get that signal back on the air. In order to do that, we're probably going to need to figure out why it went down in the first place; that's our secondary objective.

**Alpha:** You should already know that Site-69 is under a 4-to-1 time dilation. That means for each second that passes here, four seconds pass in the real world. If anyone were to look in on us, we'd be moving in slow motion. Consequences of that? Anyone? Dodgeball?

**Dodgeball:** Means get shit done fast.

**Alpha:** Exactly. That's our MO today, folks. Let's go.

[The helicopter sets down. Members each take a Class-W mnestic and then attach gas masks to their helmets, sealing them airtight. The rear cargo door opens, flooding the hold with bright white light. Members adjust their SCRAMBLE visors to compensate. All four members make their way out of the cargo hold.]

**Brimstone:** Got a theory for the liquid. The field is weakening -- it needs repair by someone who knows what they're doing. The gap between where the field is and where it's supposed to be is maybe just enough that something could have leaked through. Who knows what effects it might have had?

**Alpha:** Appreciate the theory, Brimstone, but right now that's just conjecture. Let's get this sample back to Site-300-12, let's get these folks some warm food, and let's go home.
