Jason is in the middle, bespectacled and balding, his black hair trimmed into a respectable horseshoe; very much in contrast to Frankie's fluffy brown shoulder-length mop.

Following his lead, Frankie does the same, working from one of the drawers on the bottom row. Jason opens a second drawer, which he uses as an elevated table, placing on top of it a pile of documents from the first drawer. None of them are facing the camera.

Jess beelines for the row of six environmental suits mounted on the north wall. They're in two sizes, and she begins to remove one of the smaller ones, numbered 5, from the wall, starting by detaching the helmet from its mount point on the suit's chest.

Lucy slows to a stop after entering the room. She watches Jess for a moment, then turns and peers into one of the doorless lockers that contains combat protective armour. The locker is angled to face the camera face-on, leaving a large gap behind it and the wall, which she leans to the side to inspect. She looks at the camera. She turns to Jess and says something.

Jess turns to face her and the locker, still holding the suit's helmet, and then looks at the camera.

Lucy starts to slowly make her way around the room, peering into various lockers.

Jess heads back to the suits on the wall. She places the helmet on the ground and continues dismounting the environmental suit, unclipping the various fasteners holding it in place.

Lucy suddenly turns her head to look directly at Jess, and then heads on over to join her. Jess removes her environmental suit entirely from the wall and walks backwards into the middle of the room, its legs dragging across the floor. Lucy deliberates for a moment and then begins unmounting one of the larger suits, suit number 1. Jess opens the back of her suits and climbs in, pulling it up around her, slipping her arms into the slightly-too-big sleeves and then fumbling with the thick gloves to seal it shut around her neck. Lucy begins the same process with hers -- it's a tighter fit and she has some difficulty, but she manages to get inside. Jess picks up the helmet from the floor and places it over her head, rotating it to lock it into place.

The contrast between Yetunde and Tyler couldn't be greater. Tyler isn't the youngest in the Site, but he looks like a child compared to her. Her thin white hair, pulled into a small knot, couldn't be further from his tangled mess of black. She wears a brightly-coloured shawl with hues of blue and red that goes down past her waist, and he wears a black jumper and black jeans.

For a moment it appears as if the camera has broken, up until the moment that Yetunde adjusts her position.

Yetunde walks slowly down the corridor, walking past the main containment exterior airlock door without even glancing at it. She reaches the end of the corridor, where it opens into a junction, and turns around. Then, she walks back the way she came, this time tracing her hand along the east wall.

Halfway back up the corridor, her hand passes over the touchpad next to the airlock, prompting it to open, and it slides upwards to create an aperture in the wall.

Yetunde arrives back at Tyler.

Yetunde whips back around, walking down the corridor again, her footsteps heavy and without grace. She drags her hand along the wall again, and this time catches it against the side of the open hole. She recoils, and crouches down to peer into the airlock. Tyler slowly approaches her from behind.

They walk slowly northwards, using their arms for balance, taking it step by step.

She uses the controls next to it, and it begins to slide open shutter-by-shutter, revealing a bright white light underneath that grows in intensity as the door fully opens, eventually overtaking the camera feed completely.

A small black dome comes into view at the very bottom of the frame -- the helmet of the environmental suit worn by Lucy Williams. She remains down there a moment, and is joined by Jess Brommer, who is also no more than black splotch on the feed for now.

They trudge slowly across the plain. The boots of the environmental suits are obviously good quality, but nonetheless every now and then one of them nearly slips on the ice and has to throw their arms out to their sides to catch their balance. They walk out of frame of the west camera and enter the field of view of the north camera, and keep walking.

Vikram says something to Jason. Jason laughs and nods.

Vikram stands back from the door to the security room, eyeing it up. He cracks his knuckles. He spots something on the door, near the doorhandle, and leans closer to inspect it: there's a chunk of wood missing from the doorframe, near the doorhandle. He scans the floor around the door and his feet.

Frankie says something. Vikram looks at them, then looks back at the door. Still looking at the door, he says several sentences.

He takes a deep breath and steps back from the door, then, smoothly but abruptly, steps forward and drives the heel of his right foot into a spot on the door next to the doorhandle.

The rear of the room is taken up by a makeshift mattress: the hammock fabric has been laid flat, supported underneath by  a thick layer of padding comprised of clothing and other fabrics, which is raised away from the ground by six luggage cases that have been pushed against the back wall.

The room is otherwise in fair condition.

Otherwise, it doesn't look like anyone spends much time here.

The room is a mess with various personal effects scattered over the floor.

All walls that are visible to the camera are covered with artwork hand drawn on copier paper, in both monochrome and multicoloured media. Most of the drawings are of people and faces, but there are also some more diagrammatic pieces along with scenery and images that are either abstract or unrecognisable.

Two hammocks are strung up, one against the left wall, one against the right. Below one of the hammocks is what looks like one of the servers from the data centre, but almost fully disassembled. Electrical components, bits of metal, and sheets of paper are scattered across the floor nearby.

The area around the other hammock is very tidy in comparison, with the exception of a laptop and a nonstandard USB cable on top of the pillow.

What might once have functioned as the Site's data centre is now thoroughly defunct.

There are several rows of server racks, implying capacity for about a hundred servers, but all have been pushed to the back of the room. At least one has been partially disassembled, the servers that were once held by it stacked in a neat pile nearby. In one corner is a pile of cables, organised by type and spooled into wheels, bound with electrical tape. There is no possibility that even a single server is connected to anything.

The rest of the room is free, and this remaining space has been retrofitted as a makeshift gym. The components from the disassembled server rack have found new life as not particularly safe-looking gym equipment. Two of the supporting struts have each become a handles for a barbell, electrical tape wrapped thickly around where they would be held, and nebulous mechanical contraptions at either end provide the weight, presumably assembled from scrapped server units. The larger of the two barbells is resting on the floor near the western wall.

The pantry contains several racks of shelving, which are about half-full of supplies. Most of the stock is preserved foods and cleaning products, but there are some fridges and freezers tucked near the back of the room.

Near the door, there is an empty serving trolley.

The storage room is dominated by luggage cases scattered around the entire room, uncountably many -- a hundred for sure, possibly two, probably not much more than that.

Four huge shelving racks are also present, one against the west wall, one against the east (blocking the southern exit on the east wall), and the other two parallel near the middle of the room, but pushed up against the north wall. Below those two shelves a circle  two metres wide has been carved out of the luggage pile, with suitcases stacked neatly around its perimeter.

There has been some effort to clean up the northwest corner of the room, with most of the suitcases here moved to nearby shelving or stacked neatly, revealing a large area of usable floorspace near the door. A small pile of fabric -- the same material as those used for the hammocks in the living quarters -- is bundled nearby.
