Francis Wojciechoski dropped the pen as he rubbed his temples. He felt exhausted.

Lilly walked into the room, her hooves hitting the ground as she spoke softly, "Hello sweetheart." She paused behind him. "How are you feeling?"

Francis turned around to look at Lilly before speaking, "Exhausted, but otherwise, I'm fine." He rubbed his arms as the room felt cold.

Lilly sighed as she placed her hand on Francis's head, "But you enjoyed yourself, didn't you?" She asked as she tilted her head.

Francis looked down at the ground as he pushed her hand away. "I don't want to talk about it."

Lilly groans, "Why not?" She smiled softly, "Do you not love me enough, sugar face?"

Francis mumbles as he just nods "I - I love you, I just cannot confess how I feel." He looked up as he moved his hand to her face, rubbing her cheek.

Lilly pulled away as she nods, she understood the man. 

Francis rubbed his fingers together before watching her walk out of the room, it felt quiet.

Francis looked back at his journal before turning the page, he used his other hand to pick up the pen. The ink hit the page as it seemed to seep through, absorbing the words like a sponge.

She made me feel good. Like an exposed orange being poked, and that was for all to see.

I hate that feeling, I hate having to admit that I liked it.

Francis grumbled before rubbing his head, his vision filling with memories of the cold hospital bed.

Francis knew that God created him for women's pleasures, and he knew that he had to be cut open for the baby to live as he tried to push out the baby. The doctors screamed as he tried to push, but nothing came. Suddenly, Francis could only remember counting down before the blade cut his belly in the middle. Blood spilled everywhere as it coated the bed. 

His belly was left open as the doctors attempted to clean up the mess. The only thing he heard was the doctors arguing as he saw the tiny baby inside his stomach, wiggling around. His organs were flushing against the tiny baby, attaching to the inner fat within his sticky stomach as he tried to scream for help, but nothing came out.

Francis quickly shook his head, groaning, as he stood up, walking towards the other room. Inside was a crib that housed a baby with tiny antlers. He grabbed the baby carefully as he smiled softly "Hello Meri."

As he held the baby, he thought to himself, 'If God created me, then why did he let me be used from the beginning?' He rocked the baby in his arms before glancing over at his shotgun.

He remembered his training to kill any anomalous object on sight. Not only that, but he knew the moment he got rid of Lilly, he would lose his sunshine. That was a risk he was unsure of taking.

Suddenly, Francis woke up in his office inside the foundation. No, baby, just him. He felt horrible as the shift in the air felt weird. He knew he was no longer Francis, he was Clef. But, fronting again was like a sin to his tongue. He could remember flinching at the gunshot as he heard Lilly drop to the ground with a thump and how he was forced to point a gun between Lilly's antlers. But reliving that memory is a [https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/the-devil-within-the-gale yesterday's sin] for him to never forgive.

Francis shook his head again as his head hurt, a shift punching him like the back of the neck. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and looked at Kondraki standing over him.

Kondraki offered a hand. "You alright, Clef?" He smiled softly.

Clef looked up at him as Francis was no longer in control. "Yeah, I'm okay, Konny." He took his hand.

Kondraki helped the man up with a singular grunt as he chuckled softly, "You seemed out of there for a moment, I thought I lost you again." He took the man's hand softly into his. 

Clef grumbled, "I know I keep scaring you, but I'm sorry for that." He rubbed his fingers in-between the other man's fingers. 

Kondraki looked down at the ground. "I just... I wish you talked more, opened up about what's going on." He then looked back up. "I believe you, I don't think you're lying." He said softly.

Clef stays quiet as he feels his gut scratch at his throat, not wanting to let him scream.

Kondraki stood there for a moment before asking, "This is about her, isn't it?" He asked.

Clef nods before speaking, "Yes, I want to forgive her, but she keeps telling me she didn't do it." 

Kondraki frowns. "Look, Clef, you have to let go."

Clef mumbled ".. I can't when she keeps visiting in my dreams and telling me it over and over again, like it will mean something."

Kondraki put his hand on Clef's shoulder, "Yes you can, she can't hurt you anymore." He rubs his fingers on him. "So stop trying to let her pacify you." He looked the man in the eyes.

Clef looked at the ground as a tear fell down his cheek, "I know it's over, Konni, but that doesn't get rid of the hurt she did to me." He mumbled.

Kondraki went quiet as he removed his hand, before sighing "I know."

Clef sighed as he pulled Kondraki into a hug, "But, I appreciate the help, Konni." He smiled softly.

Kondraki pats clefs back as nature softly singed. The warmth from Clef cuddling Kondraki's gut as Clef whispered, "I love you."

For a moment, the wind filled the air before Kondraki replied, "I love you too."

Everything felt peaceful for a second as the wind blew through their hair. Clef smiled softly as he felt Lilly fade from his memories.

Clef felt free, finally, as he rubbed Kondraki's back.

Kondraki hummed softly as he faded into the sun, his non-existent wings fluttering as [https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/butterfly-delusions butterflies] swarmed around Clef.

Clef looked at the butterflies before looking at the ground as he mumbled, "I could've prevented it all." He rubbed his arms, "If I was honest from the start." He felt the butterflies land on him as they crawled into his skin, becoming a part of him.

Clef walked home as he mumbled to himself. He felt awful as his gut scratched at him. 

The surrounding nature was quiet before he walked onto his home's porch, laying his hand on the front doorknob. He turned it as he walked inside.

It felt lonely, no Kondraki, no Lilly, and no Meri.

Clef walked to his bedroom as he sat at his desk, a red Hawaiian shirt dripping from the side. He groans before looking at the vase with the singular flower inside. He smiled softly before looking at his journal. He picked up the pen and began writing.

Clef put down the pen as he closed the book, feeling proud of himself. But deep down he knew he could've prevented Kondraki's death if he checked in more. 

Clef closed his journal as he looked around. He grumbled, "It's my fault." He stood up and said, "And I need to accept myself into God to be blessed." He walked towards the door. 

Clef slowly walked outside as he trotted through the snow, slowly removing his clothes as the cold hit his skin. The more he walked, the more his body felt numb before he stopped. He looked at the shadow of a figure with deer antlers as he reached out. 

The figure turned before Clef woke up from his desk, looking down at his journal. He grumbled as he mumbled, "I should've nailed her to a cross." He looked down at the ground before he rubbed his arms. He knew he would never be able to let go, and that was okay.

But in the back of Clef's mind, he felt a burning sensation. A need to return to Cornwall, Pennsylvania, to return to Montauk. He needed to end this once and for all. Francis yelled at Clef as the thoughts filled his mind. Clef knew it would be against Francis's wishes, but it would end their pain. But, Francis wanted them to just move on and never return.

Clef denied his inner thoughts as he smacked the side of his head. Francis grumbled as he spoke, "You know this isn't a good idea. We return then we accept our submission to God." 

Clef seemed annoyed as he rubbed his forehead before walking to the door. He ignored Francis as he placed his hand on the door knob.

The moment he turned the doorknob, his gut fell down as he grumbled. His head was beating as he walked against the snowy grass. He knew it would be a long trip, but it would be worth salvation.

The snow crunched underneath his feet before he arrived at the house. It loomed over as it whispered, "Come inside, Francis." The house door creaks as Clef seemed to scratch at his stomach. The butterflies underneath his skin moving as the man walked towards the door.

The house stopped whispering as it hummed, feeling the man's feet enter the main dining room. It felt happy to have the man back inside it's arms. It spoke softly as the door shut, "Welcome home, Francis." The house moved slightly as the lights flickered, "Lilly may be gone, but I am still here."

Clef looked around as he walked, his head was beating as Francis fought for front. He didn't allow the alter to force itself back into front, not anymore. The house smiled before warmly inviting clef into the bedroom, "Come my sweet child, let me cuddle you." It purred.

Clef nods as he walked into the bedroom, feeling warm as he laid on the bed. The house giggled as the bed wrapped Clef up in flesh. The wetness of the flesh clinging as Clef smiled softly. 

Slowly but surely, the man was lifted into the air as the flesh grew, clinging to the walls and the ceiling as it formed a fetus. The walls turning into flesh as the room filled with wet gulping noises as clear liquid filled the womb. It felt comfortable as clef stretched out, allowing his stomach to open up. Two hands reaching inside as they slowly rubbed the inside, searching for a fetus. Nothing. 

The house grumbled in disappointment before a fleshy bit seemed to crawl up Clefs leg, crawling inside his stomach to bite at his insides, inplanting itself. The house laughed as Clef flinched before a wet object entered the man's backside. The wet object slowly encased the backside as clefs stomach formed a disformed batch of flesh, slowly wrapping into what looked like a baby fetus. The fetus cried as it tried to escape, but it couldn't. The flesh grumbled as it blocked the fetus. 

The house whispered into clefs ear "Take your own life for another and we can be whole again." The flesh softly moved as the fetus kicked.

Clef softly moaned in pain as Francis pushed himself into front, groaning as he struggled "We can't let this happen to us, not again." The head scratched as Clef tried to force himself back into front, wanting control. 

Francis fought back for a moment as he grunts, the flesh moving around him. The house spoke "Come on out clef, you know you want this." The flesh tugs on his leg.

Francis thought for a moment as he wiggled again before the flesh fully encased his leg. He grunts as he spits out blood, his stomach slowly splitting open as it drippped out liquid as it merged with fleshy bits as his stomach finally split.

The fetus dropped out onto the bed as the flesh absorbed the man's body. A big soft wet gulping sound filled the room before the fetus cried. The house grabbed the fetus and rocked it softly, accepting it as it seemed happy.

Francis opened his eyes as he could only see darkness. He thought to himself as he rocked back and forth.

Francis knew these words didn't mean much anymore as he saw a huge deer skull approaching him from the darkness. The skull whispering to him with its hinged jaw.

For a second, maybe even less than that, the man stared through a mental window.

A fractal of a fractal of a fragmented memory screamed on the other side.

Clef placed a hand on Kondraki's shoulder as he sat beside him, beer bottle in hand.

"##transparent|###" Kondraki said. Clef did not respond.

"##transparent|###" He added. Clef glanced at Kondraki, who glanced back.

The two smiled and shred a short kiss.

Despite everything, they stared off into that --sunset--.

Without a word, he picked up his hat, bowed to the audience and cashed his check.

Suddenly, the man felt the jaw wrap around him as his head popped. No longer breathing as the creature swallowed the body into its mass. One final word entering the man's thoughts as the creature walked into the darkness.
