**Behind The Scenes:** This Tale was created as a challenge, in response to a known r/SCP glitch. The glitch involved the subreddit's main bot (/u/The-Paranoid-Android, otherwise known as "Marv") linking to "SCP-2" -- a non-existent article -- seemingly at random. The phenomenon persisted for a few years, and sometime after I published this article, it was finally fixed.
