Jeremiah Elbertson wakes up in a bizarre room. There are no windows, and there are no furniture. The concrete walls are lit with red light. As sirens blare, SCP-JERMA lurches around the room in a panic.

He tries moving his arm. His arm does not move, but something transparent briefly appears near his eyes.

**Special Containment Procedures:** Item SCP-JERMA is to be kept in a locked container at all times. Personnel assigned to enter the container are to alert one another before blinking. No fewer than three (3) personnel may enter and the door is to be locked behind them. At all times, two (2) persons must maintain direct eye contact with SCP-JERMA until all personnel have vacated and sealed the container. Research proposals are to be approved by Dr. Pearl Langstrum.

**Description:** Moved from temporary storage at Site-17 to Site-19 in 1993, the origin of its existence is as of yet unknown. It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of spray paint, fake blood, and human tears. SCP-JERMA is animate and extremely --absurd-- hostile. The object cannot move while in the direct line of sight of a sapient organism. The object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.

Personnel report sounds of scraping stone originating from within the container when no one is present inside. This is considered normal, and any change in this behaviour should be reported to the acting HMCL supervisor on duty.

The light brown substance on the floor is Dunkin'™ blueberry iced coffee. Origin of this material is unknown. The enclosure must be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis.

**Addendum JERMA.1**

Due to an escalating breach caused by SCP-███, SCP-█████, and SCP-████-█, SCP-JERMA was able to escape containment. Site-19's power outage and brownouts made it difficult for security personnel and on-site containment teams to operate. Agent Winter Killian is given the Site-19 Esteem Award for re-containing SCP-JERMA. All causalities were banned in order to prevent a one guy moment.

[Power continues to fluctuate. There are shouts down the wing as SCP-JERMA makes its way down the hallway near the bathroom.]

**???:** You hear that? What's that?

[Team fires on SCP-█████.]

**???:** What was that? Are there people comin'? Should I hide?

[A skip occurs on the recording and SCP-JERMA is in front of the bathroom entrance.]

**???:** Oh perfect! Imma-do-the-bathrum-joke. Watch guys, I'm gonna do the bathrum joke.

[SCP-JERMA hides in a bathroom stall. The team enters the west hallway and slowly investigates.]

**Agent Addicus Marsdon:** No signs of SCP-JERMA.

**Agent Archie Wagner:** Check the rooms. D-985 you're with me.

[The containment team splits up as they check the various rooms leading toward the containment chambers. Wagner and D-985 enter the bathrooms.]

**???:** BOO!

[D-985 shouts and Wagner starts shooting. They are pursued by a slowly deteriorating SCP-JERMA. After another thirty (30) seconds of gunfire SCP-JERMA is a pile of concrete dust. The two personnel look relieved and turn to leave. Visual glitches and SCP-JERMA is directly behind them.]

**???:** Hey guys, what's up!

[They scream and retreat.]

**???:** Where're ya goin'? Get back here!

**???:** This would be much easier— if my Internet didn't root aroun' the world fouah times before it got to Twitch.

The containment team was split into two groups. D-985 went to get aid from the next level, and Agents Marsdon and Wagner set a trap to lure SCP-JERMA into an empty containment chamber.

[The elevator doors open and screaming is heard.]

[The door closes.]

D-985 rerouted around SCP-JERMA and descended the west wing stairwell. He was able to gain the help of Agents Winter Killian and Terry Armada. They entered the intersection hallway of the containment wing to keep SCP-JERMA from proceeding further.

[Marsdon and Wagner have set a trap for SCP-JERMA in an empty standard containment chamber. Shouting from D-985 is heard as he runs toward the containment room. SCP-JERMA halts halfway down the hall.]

**???:** They're tryin' to trap me in there. They're not gettin' me in there.

[D-985 sprints out of the room. He runs around SCP-JERMA while taunting it. Marsdon and Wagner blink in unison and SCP-JERMA advances. D-985 runs back into the room.]

**???:** I'm not gettin' trapped in there.

[SCP-JERMA enters the containment room. The doors close, shooting is heard, and a loud deep snap is recorded followed by two more. There is silence for a moment before banging on the containment room door.]

**???:** Oh shit I can't get out, I need a key-card! Where's the key-cahd?

**???:** What! I can't grab the key-cahd? Why-can't-I-grab-the-key-cahd?

The interior of the room contains three dead people, a storage locker, a computer, a door from the containment room, and a door to the containment chamber. Frustrated, SCP-JERMA paces around the room; his concrete hands punch everything.

SCP-JERMA punches the computer at the same time as another power surge. He glitches through the door and ends up back in the hallway heading toward the intersection.

[Emergency power turns on in the Containment Wing. Two security personnel are in the hallway intersection waiting for the primary containment team's return. The door at the far end of the west hallway opens as footage glitches. On return of visuals, SCP-JERMA had entered the hallway. With occasional glitches and dimness of the emergency lights, SCP-JERMA approaches the personnel.]

**Killian:** This breach needs to hurry up, I have battle-axe training soon. 

**Armada:** What the hell are you talking about?

[Lights go out momentarily and visuals are lost. Audio is still recording.]

**???:** How-did-I-do-this-before? How //did I do// this??

[Killian and Armada's screams are drowned out by sounds of grating concrete.]

**Killian:** Terry, hang on! I got something.

[Armada gurgles. His breathing is stressed.]

**???:** Fuck! There weren't any instructions on how I'm supposed t'do this.

[Killian pulls a large flashlight out of its tactical satchel.]

**???:** Fuck fuck!

[Killian's flashlight is inoperable.]

**Killian:** Fuck fuck!

[There are sounds of more grinding and scrapping alongside gasping. Killian is heard shuffling in its pack, presumably for another light. The gasping turns to wheezing.]

**Killian:** Hang on please, I have somethin--

[A loud snap resonates and echoes in the hallways.]

**???:** Yea I did it! Wait, //that's// how I'm supposed t'do it?

**Killian:** Terry! NO!

[Killian is heard getting up and sprinting away from the central intersection security feed. Concrete slowly scraps along the ground heading in the direction of Killian.]

**???:** Should-I-do-it-to-this-guy?

[Due to the placement of audio, further review assumes that Killian is at the end of the east hallway and by the elevator. SCP-JERMA continues its pursuit.]

**???:** I don't know if I want to do it to this guy. We already saw that we can't entah some doors without a key-cahd!

**???:** Chªat, I think we need him. //(laughs)// No, I'm not killin' him. //I am NOT going to kill him.//

[Killian uses a zippo lighter and holds it up to SCP-JERMA. The agent places its hand in its back pocket.]

**Killian:** You're not gonna get me, you bag of concrete.

[Killian pulls its key-card from its back pocket. The power brownouts leave the card readers unusable. Killian starts to panic.]

**Killian:** I can't blink, I can't blink. I can't look away, I can't blink.

**???:** Listen, I have a deal I'd like to make with you.

**Killian:** My eyes burn, I have to do something. //(whines)//

**???:** You help me leave, and I let you live.

[Killian blinks, and SCP-JERMA's arms are behind its back.]

**Killian:** What is this? What are you doing? //(continues blinking)//

[SCP-JERMA continues to stand with its arms behind its back.]

**Killian:** Are you letting me live?

**???:** If you help me get out, yea I will. //(chuckles and whispers)// No I won't!

[SCP-JERMA remains motionless.]

**Killian:** You want me to help you breach containment?

[SCP-JERMA remains motionless.]

**Killian:** //(grimaces)// Let's find a working door.

[Killian heads toward the Containment Wing stairwell. SCP-JERMA follows Killian as the cameras glitch. They ascend to the next floor and the on-site nuclear warheads alert blares through the PA speakers.]

**Killian:** Shit! We have to get to a bunker, now!

[Killian sprints up another flight of stairs with SCP-JERMA lagging behind.]

**???:** What? What's going on here?

**???:** A bomb?

**PA:** Two minutes until activation.

**???:** Shit!

[Killian is on the next floor and it heads down the security hallways to an unused bunker. SCP-JERMA tries to follow but turns down a wrong hallway. Killian is not aware of this and stands in the bunker with the door open. The anomaly scraps and jumps around the wing further from the bunker.]

**???:** I know I know! Quiet down, the game flips me aroun'. I don't have control ovah it!

**PA:** One minute until activation.

**???:** Ah I gotta get outta here!

[Killian visibly grinds its teeth. SCP-JERMA becomes more lost and erratic.]

**PA:** Thirty-seconds until activation.

[Killian bares its teeth while they seal the door. Its eyes are wet as if its been crying.]

**???:** This isn't faiah, I got all flipped aroun'!

**???:** Where do I go? Where the fuck do I go?

**PA:** Ten seconds.

[The bunker is sealed. Recording shows Killian in the corner of the bunker in the fetal position. SCP-JERMA unintentionally races back to its containment chamber.]

**PA:** Three, two, on--

SCP-JERMA's vision is momentarily blinded. SCP-JERMA falls and shouts. Everything goes dark after another second.

//What?//

//NO! Did my game just crash?//

//How did this happen?//

Frustrated, he pushes himself from the ground.
